Designed as part of office building for Zurich Insurance, the forum stair acts as a focal point and primary circulation route within the dynamic ground floor space, providing a place to rest and work for individuals and informal groups or large gatherings for presentations.
To address these needs the stair is finished with highly durable oak and brass nosings. Movable padded cushions are provided to the seating area with power sockets for laptops and charging.
As the forum stair would receive close interaction we approached the design as we would a high quality item of furniture, with attention to detail and high quality materials of high importance.
